Shweta Tiwari opens up on not doing more shows; ‘Bachon ko time dena hai, meri maa abhi budhi ho…’

MUMBAI: It is unnecessary to introduce Shweta Tiwari. The actress became well-known for playing Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She has dominated the small screen ever since for many years. Shweta has been making brief appearances on the small screen, as everyone is aware.
Shweta Tiwari recently revealed the reason she isn't doing additional shows in an interview with the popular news portal.

Shweta Tiwari admitted in an open conversation that she is unable to work for 30 days continuously. She now desires to spend time with her family and children. The actress said, “I have my kids to take care of. Mujhe abhi bachon ko time dena hai. Main pure 30 days kaam nahi kar sakti. Pehle meri Maa mere bachon ka khayal aur ghar sambhalti thi. Par ab who bhi budhi ho chuki hai. Abhi unko bhi mere sahare ki jaroorat hai.”

Shweta Tiwari further stated that she can work for 10 to 20 days every month. She wants weekends off to spend time with her kids. “I used to work continuously in the 2000s, but now my family and kids need me,” Shweta added.

Speaking about famous actors finding it difficult to get TV roles, Shweta Tiwari stated, “Popular actors are struggling more these days because these days, new actors are coming in for a lesser price. They charge less. I ask for a certain amount from my shows, but these days, leads charge Rs 5,000 or 6,000.”

Shweta Tiwari has taken on the role of actress in Paritosh Painter's play, Ek Main Aur Ek Two, after dazzling the public on the small screen. On July 6 and 7, a few performances had already taken place in Mumbai.
