Producer Suzana Ghai's Panorama Entertainment is all set to unravel their new concept, this time for the popular youth based channel, Channel V. The fiction show titled ‘Ishq Unplugged’ will have a slice of the non-fiction element in it, as it will deal with a love story set in the background of a singing reality show.. As we know, the production house presently has Suhani Si Ek Ladki on air at the moment. And for it, the maker and channel have roped in excitingly fresh talents, who have made a platform for themselves with their singing capabilities. Sounds interesting, right!! Young Rawstar, Mohit Gaur who made headlines with his singing histrionics in Star Plus’ reality show India’s Raw Star, judged by Yo Yo Honey Singh has been roped in to play the male lead. And giving him company will be a trained and famous singer, Shruti Prakash. The girl as we know, happens to be the semifinalist of the Closeup WebSinger contest, wherein the contestants were short listed by the singing sensation, Pritam. As per reliable sources, “Ishq Unplugged with Mohit and Shruti in lead roles, has gone on floor. The launch of the show will happen soon.” When contacted, Producer Suzana Ghai confirmed the news saying, “Yes, we have a show for Channel V coming up, titled Ishq Unplugged.” We dropped a text to the channel spokesperson, but did not get any revert till we filed the story.
