Sonam 'approached' to play... say sources but she denies

Ever since Neha Janpandit left Tere Liye, Balaji has been hunting for a new girl to play Nupur, the third angle in Anurag-Taani's love story. The latest buzz suggests Sonam Maan who debuted with Kitni Mohobbat Hai may be approached to play this role. A source from the show says, "After Neha stepped out of the show, we have been looking for a fresh face. It is a pivotal role so we can't afford to take a risk with it. Sonam has worked with us before in Kitni. We want a girl who can carry of a role of an NRI girl. If things finalise we may sign her. We are considering a few more options as we did audition for fresh faces. So if things don’t work out with Sonam we will look elsewhere. Things are expected to sort out in a couple days." Meanwhile Sonam denies having received any such offer. "I am currently shooting in Karnataka for my new show and have not got any such offer so far. I will return to Mumbai after two-three days, if I am offered this role I will let you know." It is said that due to delay in casting, Nupur's entry in the show may get pushed ahead for a few more days; moreover Ekta Kapoor too has instructed her team to bring Nupur's character later in the show.
