The promo of the upcoming show Reporters on Sony Entertainment Television has raised curiosity level with its bold content. The Rose Audio Visuals Ltd’s show will have Rajeev Khandelwal making a comeback to TV. Starring along with him in the lead is Kritika Kamra. Also popular actors Puru Chibber, Sunny Hinduja and Syed Zafar Ali have been roped in to play pivotal characters.

In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, Puru spoke about his excitement on being part of this project.

“Firstly there has been no show on the concept of a news room and this would be a revolution of sorts for Indian Television. But yes it is most definitely a challenge as we would have to prove ourselves to the masses. Also I am happy that producers are taking risks and presenting finite shows that would definitely change the game for Indian TV.”

Talking further about his role, Puru quipped, “I play Ronnie, the input editor in the news channel. And trust me I have started respecting all media professionals much more now. It is really a difficult and challenging job to bifurcate between a news and ‘made news’. But hats off to the reporters to be able to do such a great job and bring out substantial news to the masses.”

The actor will be seen donning formals and is pretty happy with the look. “It is a very decent look and I am happy to dress up in a relaxed and casual manner. Also since Ronnie is a very positive person he will be a happy face on TV. I am dressed in the best of block coloured shirts and looking forward for it.”

And finally talking about the team, Puru quipped, “We have just started shooting so haven’t really got a chance to bond with many. But yes, being a professional production house, things are really sorted out. Also we have the best of actors in the show making Reporters a must watch.”

Well Puru, wish you great luck!!!
