MUMBAI: Star Bharat’s flagship show Savdhaan India completes 8 years this week on the small screen. The show has created a lasting impression in both the minds and hearts of their audience. In these last 8 years, it has educated the nation on various crimes happening in the society.
Over the years, talented anchors have propelled the show forward and brought forth some of the gruesome crime incidents which the country faced and the intent here was to educate the masses about such incidents as well as to tell them to fight for their rights and against injustice. While the show has garnered unmatchable viewership over the years, the important factors that keep the viewers engaged in the show have been transfixing storytelling, moments of suspense and the effort to seek justice for the victims.
Recently in Jan 2020, the channel launched Savdhaan India F.I.R Series which showcased riveting stories from the perspective of police. The special series revolved around four Police Inspectors from across the nation - Mumbai Inspector Prajakta Bhonsle (played by Manasi Kulkarni), Delhi Inspector Gurmeet Singh Randhawa (played by Ankur Nayyar), UP Inspector Kranti Mishra (played by Karan Sharma) and MP Inspector Avinash Raj Singh (played by Vikas Shrivastav).
Ankur Nayyar who is essaying the role of Delhi police said “I’ve had a wonderful experience working with the show. I have been a part of many shows before but being a part of Savdhaan India is really a privilege. It gives me immense pride to be associated with such a successful brand. I thank and congratulate the makers and the audiences for playing an important role in the success of the show.”
Currently amid the lockdown Star Bharat brings back the ‘Best of Savdhaan India’ episodes everyday between 12 noon to 7pm and 9pm to 12pm on the channel to entertain its viewers.
The work done by the cast and crew which has kept Savdhaan India running successfully for 8 long years is truly commendable! Here's too many more years of 'Satarkta' thanks to Savdhaan India!
