MUMBAI: The talented actress Suchitra Pillai, who is known for roles in movies like Dil Chahta Hai, Page 3, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag, and Fashion and has been part of TV shows like Beintehaa, Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman amongst others, has been roped in for ALTBalaji’s upcoming web-series.
The particular web-show was tentatively titled ‘United’. However, as mentioned by us it is now changed to Bebaki. This show is based on a Muslim backdrop. It is 50 episodes series which will revolve around two big families.
Kushal Tandon and Karan Jotwani will play lead roles. The actors will be seen playing brothers in the series. Actress Hebah Patel has joined the team as female protagonist.
According to our sources, Suchitra will play Hebah’s mother in the series.
As reported by us, the series will also star Love School 3 fame Pratik Sehajpal and Mrinalini Tyagi, who is currently part of Star Plus’ Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum.
