MUMBAI : This weekend, Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown children’s singing reality show, ‘Superstar Singer 3’, will celebrate the legacy of the legendary superstar, ‘Rajesh Khanna’. In this ‘Rajesh Khanna Special’, the talented young contestants will showcase their singing prowess as they pay homage to Rajesh Khanna by singing some evergreen songs from his movies. Renowned lyricist and writer, Manoj Muntashir, will join the celebration and share some interesting insights about the superstar, making everyone reminisce about his great work in Indian cinema.
Known for his cuteness and impeccable singing, 7-year-old, Avirbhav S from Kerala, will be seen performing Rajesh Khanna’s iconic classics - ‘Kora Kagaz’ and ‘Mera Sapno Ki Rani’ along with captain Sayli Kamble. Amazed by the little wonder’s strong vocals, Super Judge Neha Kakar and the other captains, along with Manoj Muntashir, will give the duo a standing ovation.
Super Judge Neha Kakkar praised Avirbhav, saying, "I call him 'Veer Avirbhav' because of his never give up attitude. I'm so proud of you and You sang so well. You didn’t give up and your passion for singing is visible in your performance.”
Special guest Manoj Muntashir shared, “He sang the song with a superstar landing and this is what you call a winner. Good job, Avirbhav.”
