MUMBAI: Terms like Trolling, bashing, criticising, slamming have become quite common in the digital world. If you're a public figure, then these are bound to be encountered with no escape.
A similar thing happened with actor Karan Wahi who found himself at the receiving end of criticism when he was seen urging people not to burst crackers during Diwali.
The actor recently took to his Instagram stories and shared a note on how one should not burst crackers, given that pollution levels are worst in certain states of the country and owing to the ongoing pandemic, he told everyone to refrain themselves from indulging in so.
However, he soon found himself in the pool of trolls where they brutally slammed him for his views.
While one user talked about the 'Hindu-Muslim' aspect, the other one talked about animal cruelty.

Nevertheless, Karan took the screenshot of the trolls and shared them on his Instagram stories while giving an apt reply to all the 'egomaniacs' out there. He even shared a note even if they abuse him, he would still tell them not to burst crackers.
His note read, "Got a lot of messages like the ones I put on my story. Just a humble request to all the egomaniacs out there, this platform has given you a lot of liberty but I am sure you have a family too, so you wanna abuse, go ahead but still I would tell you not to burst crackers. #saynotocrackers".
Meanwhile, Karan is currently seen hosting the chat show for Bigg Boss 14 and Bigg Buzz. The recent guest who graced the show was Sirshty Rode, who has also been a part of the show earlier and is also current contestant Rubina Dilaik's best friend.
