MUMBAI: Varunn Jain joined Star Plus' hit show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin just a few months back when it witnessed a major leap.
After the major leap, the entire star cast took an exit which also saw new actors stepping in.
Only Bhavika Sharma, Aarya Bhatta, Manasi Salve and Ankita Khare were retained from the previous cast.
In the new storyline, Varunn is seen playing the character of Hitesh Bharadwaj aka Rajat's best friend Aman in the show.
The viewers have loved the way the show's storyline turned out to be.
Varunn is receiving several praises for his role Aman.
In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Varunn spoke about the show and much more.
How is Aman's character similar to you in real life?
My on-screen character shares several traits with me in real life, such as resilience and a strong sense of loyalty. Both of us navigate challenges with determination and value relationships deeply. However, portraying the character allows me to explore different aspects of emotions and situations that I may not encounter in my everyday life, making it a rewarding experience for growth as an actor.
Since you play Rajat aka Hitesh Bharadwaj's best friend, tell us about your off-screen bond. Also, how is it working with the rest of the cast which has some renowned names of the TV industry?
I share a good bond with everyone offscreen. It has been a beautiful experience so far working with everyone on set as there is something to learn from everyone.
After Tera Mera Saath Rahe, what were you up to before taking up work?
I was working on myself, my abilities and capabilities. I was polishing my skills to be a better version of myself for my next project.
From working in shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Tera Mera Saath Rahe, Kaali, Mere Angne Mein and many more and portraying several roles, how is Aman different from them?
I am truly grateful for the opportunity to portray a diverse range of characters on screen. Like, as Mohit in Diya aur Baati, I could portray both positive and negative. As Pramod Prasad in Mere Angne Mein, I was fierce. As Chirag in Tera mera Saath Rahe, I was funny and jolly and as Aman in Ghum, I am calm and composed.
