Veteran actor Asrani all set to make his television debut

Asrani needs no introduction. This versatile actor can still tickle the funny bones with his flawless acting as witnessed in the latest Ajay Devgn film Bol Bachchan. And here is some good news for TV buffs, as he is all set to make his small screen debut in the coming days. Yes, you have heard it right; Asrani will be seen in a show on SAB TV produced by writer Anjana Sood and writer Vicky Chandra under their new banner MBW Productions. Currently, the comedy channel has commissioned MBW to make the pilot of the show. Our source whispered that Asrani had already shot for the pilot. The show being a sitcom with a musical layering, Asrani will be essaying the role of a big bhajan samrat. Apart from Asrani, there are also few other names in the star cast. The show also stars gujarati actress Mona Theeba and Gaurav Gera who are playing the main leads. This apart it also has Neelima Parandekar and the recently engaged Shivani Gosain and Ashwin Kaushal essaying pivotal roles. “It’s a very confidential thing which I can’t reveal but yes, I am part of this show,” confirmed Ashwin Kushal to Tellychakkar.com. On the other hand, Shivani Gosain stated, “It would be great to share a screen space with Asrani. Hope we start shooting soon.” We shall soon come up with more updates!!!
