Vineet Raina makes an evil debut

Vineet Raina is playing a negative lead in the show tentatively titled Maa on Zee TV which is produced by Shakuntala. This is the first time that Vineet will be seen playing a negative role. His character in this show is contradictory to his image of a nice and simple boy that he attained with shows like Maayka and Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai. Vineet will make his entry into the show after a few episodes. He is not just going to be seen in a negative role but also in a new avatar. “I play a good looking charmer who is evil from within. I am going for a complete make over. I am working on my looks. I have to change my looks from head to toe. I might even change my hair style. To play this character, I will have to build muscles. Unlike film stars, television actors don’t have enough time to go for a new look but I am trying my best to get into the character,” said Vineet. When we quizzed him how much the show was inspired from Khoon Bhari Maang, he said, “I can’t talk about the story but it is not a copy of that movie.” .After Maayka and Har Ghar Kuch Kehta Hai, this is the third show that he is doing for Zee TV. “Zee was keen on appointing me for this role and I am extremely comfortable working with this channel,” asserted Vineet.
