MUMBAI: Vishal Gandhi is a known television actor who has a good fan following.
He rose to fame by playing Kabir Singh Rathod in popular Balaji Telefilms' show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani which was his huge big success on television.
Then he was part of successful shows like Tamanna, Kshadyantra and Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet.
These days he has been part of Tose Naina Milai Ke where he essays the role of Rajeev and has become a household name.
TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him which is his favourite character he has played until now and does he miss working with Ekta Kapoor.
Do you feel the pressure of delivering as the serial is gaining good TRPs or you feel it's like a blessing?
I don't feel the pressure but I feel blessed as the writers will feel the pressure as they have to take the story ahead we have to only perform it. As the numbers were coming down the writers changed the script and the story and took the leap and it worked because the TRPs shot up the pressure is there as the blessings come but the writers have the more pressure.
You played many characters which have been your favourite?
The character of Kabir Singh Rathod from the serial Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani that was my first and biggest hit show then Tamanna on star plus where I was playing a positive role and the negative lead and it was challenging and a manipulative person and with Rajeev all the elements have come it's like the writers are throwing so much challenges it's exciting to act it out.
Do you miss playing with Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms?
Seems like Ekta Kapoor has forgotten me since 2010 and if an opportunity comes I would love to work with her again.
Well, there is no doubt that Vishal' s character Rajeev is loved by the audience and fans.
