MUMBAI: Amit Khanna is a well-known celebrity photographer. His yearly calendar always grabs everyone’s attention.
Amit has been always appreciated for his work as well as his outspoken nature. This time while shooting the 2021 Calendar, he came across one of the industry's darkest truths, and he finds it terrible.

Well, for his 2021 calendar, he had approached former Mr Gay World and Drag star Sushant Divgikr aka Rani KoHEnur, also a Bigg Boss 8 contestant. When the stylists for this project, Sohail Mughal and Victor Robinson were hunting for a gown for Sushant, several popular designers denied them one, on the pretext that Women won't wear their garments if a guy wears it. This hard hitting stereotypical thought process when the entire world is rolling the trumpet of equality is highly condemned by Khanna.
Amit said to media, "It is awful! Sushant is such a popular personality on as well as off social media. He has represented India at an international platform, participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa too and has always been appreciated by people. While designers didn't want to lend their outfits because of the way he likes to present his gender identity. We are talking about development and that's what a few orthodox are thinking. But not all mangoes in the lot are rotten, we somehow managed to get him a beautiful gown!"
Victor Robinson, the stylist, said, "We had to literally undergo so much stress while sorting a nice outfit for such a wonderful talent. Sushant has always motivated people and with such good following we'd thought finding an outfit was a cakewalk. But things turned out darker."
