MUMBAI: Actress Shweta Tiwari has been winning hearts for years now with her stellar performances. The actress turned a household name after featuring as Prerna in the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay and is known to all ever since. Like we all are well aware, even though she has had a successful professional life, Tiwari has gone through a lot of struggles in her personal life but has managed to stand strong always. Even after her first marriage failed, as Shweta found love for the second time, but things went kaput, it was once when the actress opened up during an interview about facing backlash from the society when her second marriage hit the rocks.

Speaking with Hindustan Times, Shweta revealed that she faced a lot of backlashes and societal pressure when her second marriage went kaput. The actress said, 'When I got married at the peak of my career, people told me that it’s over for me. But I didn’t let people’s opinion penetrate my mind. I didn’t even care what my khandaan will say, who only asked me how I was doing once in five years. I just care about myself, my kids, and my immediate family.'

Shweta then concluded that all she cares about is herself, her kids, and her immediate family.
