MUMBAI: After 13 years of dating, television actress Surbhi Chandna is planning to marry her longtime partner Karan Sharma in March 2024. It will be a destination wedding, with the pair marrying at the Chomu Palace Hotel near Jaipur, Rajasthan.

The Chomu Palace Hotel is a famous royal palace where Akshay Kumar's film Bhool Bhulaiyaa was filmed. It was known as the Chaturvedis' ancestral home, and it is haunted by the ghost of Manjulika, a Bengali classical dancer.
It has been referred to be a palace where Bollywood films are frequently filmed. Aside from Bhool Bhulaiya, Ajay Devgn's Bol Bachchan was also filmed here. Not only have movies been shot at the palace, but so have countless serials.
Meanwhile, the actress revealed that Surbhi and Karan's wedding will last two days. On March 1, the couple will have a mehendi ceremony, followed by an engagement ceremony and a Sufi music night.
"The next day, we’ll have a haldi ceremony with the Winter Wonderland theme. It will be like a mela (laughs). As I am a Punjabi, there will also be a chooda ceremony, and the pheras will take place around 5pm. In the evening, we will have a tuxedo night where our friends will roast us! So, there’s something for everyone," added the actress.
The pair held a roka ceremony in September 2023. Surbhi captioned her post, “September is such a Special month for both of us. Both our birthdays fall in the same month and we are just two days apart. We decided it would be even more special if we did our ROKA in September. The idea was to have a ROKA*TION (roka + vacation) spread over 3 Days in Goa and boy we had so much fun with the Sharmas and Chandnas and blessings from above. Sealed it finally after 13 years on 18.09.2023.”
After over thirteen years of dating, Surbhi and Karan have decided to take the plunge. The couple appeared dreamy in the video while doing the traditional Roka rituals.
