MUMBAI : Television has always been the grandest of mediums, and it has been the audience's go-to for entertainment. The entertainment landscape has changed a lot over the years.

A lot of new shows are in the pipeline which will soon go on floors. There are some that are all set for a launch in the upcoming days. The rest are already on-air and are entertaining the viewers.

While the longevity of presentations has declined, the introduction of new age thinkers has unquestionably aided in providing audiences with stories of inspiration and entertainment.

Many new television shows went on-air this year, and many went off-air. Some long reigning shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, and Kumkum Bhagya are still reigning at the top. But a lot of new shows with new parings and new casts also premiered this year. With that, a few new actors made their television debut.

A new lot of actors debuted as leads in shows this year, but there were also a lot of actors, who made their television debut itself. From Samridhi Shukla in Saavi Ki Savaari to Celesti Bairagey in Rajjo, here is a list of actors who made their TV debut in 2022:

Samridhi Shukla:

Samridhi Shukla began her career as a voice artist, and then went on to play the lead in the Colors show ‘Savi Ki Savaari’.

Celesti made her debut in the Assamese Web Film, Niveer Aru Tara. She is also a social media sensation. But she made her TV debut with Star Plus’s Rajjo.

Making her name on the list is the child debut star of the year, Aarohi Kumawat, who made her debut in the show Bade Acche Lagte Hai in the role of Pihu.

Some of these actors, who have made their debut as a lead, and some as other pivotal characters, have definitely made a place in the hearts of the people.
