Taking yet another stride in the same direction, Zee Cinema has created an exciting, first-of-its-kind application on Facebook to ensure that its ongoing movie festival celebrating Hindi cinema’s biggest baddies - ‘Bollywood’s Most Wanted’ is the talk of the town. The innovative app allows users to morph their friends’ pictures and give them an interesting ‘Raavan’ look. Tomorrow, on Dussehra (24 October), Zee Cinema’s viewers and fans can log in and get an opportunity to burn Raavan, virtually, on Facebook. In eight days, the fan base of Zee Cinema’s Facebook page has shot up by more than 100,000 followers, crossing 1.75 lac users. To access this fun app, ‘Like’ us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/ZeeCinemaChannel, upload your friend’s picture and give them a wicked ‘Raavan’ twist. In keeping with the core theme of Dussehra where ‘Good triumphs over Evil’, Zee Cinema is currently treating its viewers to a unique 10-day movie festival that celebrates the meanest villains of Hindi Cinema- ‘Bollywood’s Most Wanted’. This is the first time that a film festival has been created around the most celebrated villains of Hindi cinema. Some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters will be showcased, not from the hero’s perspective, but from a villain’s. We all love to watch our favorite heroes vanquish the baddie. But, we must also remember that it is the villain’s presence that makes a hero – A hero! So, all the communication across all mediums part of the marketing mix revolves around the grandeur of the villains and how they were defeated in the films. The ‘Bollywood’s Most Wanted’ festival has so far aired Sholay, Agneepath, Mr. India, Karma, Shaan, Vishwatama and Zanjeer. This Dusserra, tune in at 9 PM tonight for Shahenshah and Ram Lakhan (24 October), to see the biggest villains get destroyed and log on to Facebook to have fun with them.
