Shreya Creations’ new show on Zee has finally got a name and time slot. The show titled Geeta is expected to get the 6-6.30 pm time slot. Zee is introducing the new 6 to 7 pm time slot, the promos of which are already on air.
A source informs, “Sargun Mehta will be playing Geeta. We are yet to finalize the male lead of the show and have approached Shaleen Bhanot and Vipul Roy but nothing has been decided. The show will air at 6 pm.”
Meanwhile, Nisha Rawal who was to play the negative lead has backed out from the show. The actress is not to keen on starting her TV career with a negative character.
While Sargun refused to comment on the news, producer Sheel Kumar confirmed the same.
The show is expected to go on floors sometime later this month.
