Do you have it in you?
It seemed like another Indian Idol. Only this time, it was an audition for India's first musical show, Zee's Sansui Antakshari. Over a thousand aspiring participants turned up for the auditions on Sunday at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Mumbai.
Music directors Anand Sharma and Sujit Dutt, the judges of the event, had a tough time screening the singers. They judged the participants not only for their singing talent but also their attitude or the 'A' factor as it is called. Auditions in Mumbai will follow those in Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Calcutta.

Hosts of the show, Annu Kapoor and Pallavi Joshi were present to witness the response to the audition. And a response it was! Hundreds of them were standing in the queue dodging the hot sun, while some of them sat, waiting for their turn.
Hearing some of them sing made one wonder if they knew anything about singing. Some of them couldn't even get the lines clear and created their lines setting the audience into roars of laughter! One could only pray the souls of the dead legends don't come alive! There were exceptions in some who mesmerized the audience. To conclude, Zee's Antakshari still has its viewers hooked on to the show. Even after a decade!
