He is also a commentator for IPL this season but unfortunately, this time, things have taken a wrong turn this time. On Sunday, Harbhajan Singh found himself in the middle of a controversy due to his commentary.
During the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) vs. Rajasthan Royals (RR) match, Harbhajan was heard commenting “London me kaali taxi ka meter tez bhaagta hai, Aur yaha pe Archer sahab ka meter bhi tez bhaaga hai (Like the meter of London's black taxis, Archer's meter has also been on the higher side),” The ‘Kaali Taxi’ reference was used for English pacer Jofra Archer.
There was a time when Harbhajan Singh himself had faced racial remarks and today, its him who is being held for racial remarks. This has triggered a lot of fans who are expressing their disappointment on social media.
