MUMBAI: Aditi Dhiman is a well known actress in the entertainment business and she has a good fan following.
She was recently seen in one of the most controversial movies Humare Barah starring Anu Kapoor where she played a pivotal character.
Tellychkkar got in touch with the actress and asked her what were the challenges in essaying this role and how did she bag the role.
What drove you to sign this new project—was it the story or your character?
Well, actually it was the story. As an artist, I find fulfillment in the idea that my work could potentially change someone's life for the better. I was drawn to the story and felt compelled to be a part of this film because movies like these are not made easily. So yes, it was the story that drove me, as I've always wanted to contribute to the betterment of our society and country.
What are the challenges you faced in playing the character?
Well, shooting in the scorching heat waves of May in Lucknow was quite challenging. The temperatures were almost touching 50 degrees Celsius, causing the cameras to malfunction frequently. Moreover, mentally preparing myself to embody the character of Zareen was tough. Unlike me, Zareen's character lacks the liberty to make her own decisions, which presented a significant challenge for me.
Well, not doubt that the fans loved Aditi in the movie and her acting was appreciated by both the critics and the audience.
