MUMBAI: Social media witnessed a huge feud between filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and actress Sonakshi Sinha.
It all happened after the filmmaker mistook an old picture of the actress from a shoot as her latest one and thought that she is shooting amid the Coronavirus lockdown. However, Sonakshi was quick to take notice and blast the filmmaker for spreading fake news. She even went onto tag the Maharashtra CM and the Mumbai police and look into this matter. Now, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel has jumped into this matter and took a stand for Vivek.
Sharing a screen-grab of Mumbai Mirror edition, Vivek Agnihotri slammed the actress by writing, “Procedure is simple dear @sonakshisinha ask your PR company to instruct @ not to publish your photo in their main page. Simple.” He added, “And @MumbaiPolice is busy saving lives, don’t over burden them with inane requests. Simple.” Responding to the same, Rangoli supported Vivek and dissed Sonakshi by writing how it isn’t his fault if the newspaper has carried an old picture. She added that they should have specified that it’s a throwback.
Rangoli wrote, “This section of paper carries fresh pics mostly from the day when paper goes for printing, If @vivekagnihotri sir thought Sonakshi ji is shooting it’s not his fault, paper must mention throwback or something...”

Responding to Vivek’s tweet, Sonakshi had tweeted, “Being a Director and member of many unions and film bodies one would expect you to be better informed that Absolutely NO one is shooting since studios are shut and its a national lockdown! I believe Classic freeze frame means throwback in @ terms.” She continued, “clearly meaning its an old picture, from 5th Nov 2019 to be precise! Aaah... those were the days!”
