MUMBAI : Since a while, Tamannaah was posting updates about her latest movie Aranmanai 4. The movie released on May 3rd and the audience were very much eager to watch this. The movie also features Raashii Khanna, Sundar C, Santhosh Prathap, Ramachandra Raju, Yogi Babu and many more.
When talking about Raashii Khanna, she was last seen in the Hindi movie Yodha featuring Sidharth Malhotra and Disha Patani. It was an action-packed Dharma Production movie which received good reviews from the audience.
As we know already that the movie is a horror comedy directed Sundar C. We had earlier reported with the behind-the-scenes glimpses where in one of the stories we got to watch Raashii Khanna and Tamannaah Bhatia together.
Surely the BTS updates got the audience hyped up and the fans were eagerly waiting for the release of this movie. Well, the movie finally released and quickly became a success as the fans filled up the theatres.
While the audience is still enjoying the movie, we got in to an exclusive conversation with Tamannaah Bhatia and Raashii Khanna.
In an exclusive interview with Tamannaah Bhatia, Raashii Khanna, and their veteran Aranmanai 4 Director, Surya C, prior to the release of the Hindi version of their film in theatres, the trio opened up on why they initially didn't go for a pan-India release despite believing their film to be bigger than Baahubali in the Tamil market.
To this, director Surya C said, “Aranmanai is a big franchise movie in the South so I don’t care about anything else. I’m not scared because at the time when Aranmanai was releasing IPL was going on, general elections was at its peak so our Hindi distributors Hindi producers had some reservations releasing on that particular date so they wait for…which is perfect for the release so we planned it on May 31st. When it comes down to South, for me Aranmanai franchise is bigger than IPL or anything else so I am not scared of anything else.”
The director also added that the Aranmanai franchise is even bigger than Baahubali and Tamannaah said, “Also it’s a Tamil film, I do feel like the goal of everybody today who’s making movies is, the more local we are going the more global we are able to reach so I think the strength is naturally in going more local. It’s like we don’t need to travel or cater to everybody. We need to cater to one place properly toh naturally woh reach hoga.”
