Bhumika Tewari is appointed Head of Content Acquisition & Global Film Distribution by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in order to fortify relationships with regional artists and filmmakers while establishing offices around India.

MUMBAI: Dharma Productions, led by Karan Johar, is entering a new age! An interesting step in the production powerhouse's history is its expansion into film distribution. Bhumika Tewari, who was named Head of Content Acquisition and Film Distribution Worldwide, is spearheading this significant advancement.

Dharma is making its first foray into distribution with the goal of acquiring top-notch films in a variety of languages, including as Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Marathi. Under Bhumika's direction, Dharma will take on third-party films in addition to distributing its own movies.

Dharma will be establishing offices in important locations including Delhi, Punjab, Hyderabad, and Chennai in order to bolster this campaign. These offices will support the development of a strong distribution network, strong partnerships with regional filmmakers, and deeper ties with local industry.
