MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Kajol turns a year older on Thursday, August 5.
Earlier today, she kicked off her birthday, spending her day with mom Tanuja and sister Tanishaa Mukherji. The actress also took to Instagram to share some pictures.
Ahead of her birthday, the actress also opened up about her plans. Kajol shared how she is ‘big on birthdays’, adding she loves her birthday. The actress revealed she tries to keep herself free for at least a week so that she can really enjoy the day to its fullest.
Reportedly, the actress said, “I love my birthday. I try to keep myself free for at least a week so that I can really enjoy the day to its fullest. I’m not working today either.”.
Kajol expressed she’s upset about not being able to call her loved ones over, however, she mentioned that she has “spaced it out and met her friends over the week”.
Kajol even reacted to the rumours of her working next on a project with Rajkumar Hirani. She rubbished the reports and said the makers haven’t approached her yet.
She said, “They haven’t approached me yet. I’m reading and listening to scripts and virtually meeting people to hear ideas. But I haven’t locked anything as of now.”.
Kajol also mentioned that for the first time in two-and-a-half years, she has missed work.
On the work front, Kajol was last seen in the Netflix film Tribhanga and Devi. She also featured opposite her husband, Ajay Devgn in the film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior early last year.
