Be it the actors, the director’s vision, the scenes, the music by AR Rehman or the lyrics by Irshad Kamil, everything was loved about this movie and it really took the audience to a heartbreaking, yet beautiful journey of J.J.

The movie has completed 12 years and while Ranbir Kapoor has given many hits after this movie, nothing compares to the intensity, heartbreak and chemistry we got to see here.

There has been a special screening of Rockstar in Mumbai. Director Imtiaz Ali opened up on doing a biopic based on the life of Guru Dutt.

Imtiaz Ali said, " I think more than the movie the life of that director would be important. I'm trying to think who had a very dramatic life, so maybe Guru Dutt would be that... And also I forgot to mention Mukesh because Mukesh Chhabra did the casting for debut film, Love Aaj Kal bhi, also for Rockstar. As Mukesh said yaha se humari mohabbat shuru hui thi."
