MUMBAI: Director and writer Nikhil Raj has given us an eye-opening movie titled, Jaaiye Aap Kahan Jaayenge. The movie stars Karan Aanand, Monal Gajjar and Sanjay Mishra. The story is based on the need of clean public toilets and it takes place in a rural district.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Karan Aanand opened up about the movie and how it crossed boundaries with its heart-touching story.
Karan Aanand highlighted that the movie has been released on OTT platform and it’s getting a lot of love from the viewers. The movie was also selected for film festivals like IFFI, Jagran Film Festival, and Jodhpur International Film Festival. In fact, at the Jodhpur Film Festival, it won the best movie award. Additionally, the best actor award went to Karan Aanand and best director award went to Nikhil Raj. However, there’s something more wonderful here.
Karan Aanand revealed, “Cannes ki jury hai, Mariana Borgo, woh wahan par thi. Jodhpur Film Festival ki jury woh bhi thi. Woh try kar rahi hai ki yeh film France or Italy mein bhi release ho.” He further clarified, “Cannes mein nahi jayegi, ab yeh release karenge theatre mein aur woh ek charity theatre hota hai Cannes mein, jis mein woh Mariana Borgo release karna chah rahi hai.”
Talking about the movie, the actor said, “Yeh Kahani, relation and emotion ke saath mein, ek bohot bade social message ki hai. Aaj bhi humari society mein, Bombay jo sabse bada sheher hai Hindustan ka, chhote shehro ko bhi mila le, toh aaj bhi bazaaro mein aurato ke liye clean aur hygienic toilet nahi hai. Even males ke liye bhi nahi hai...Issi par yeh beased kahaani hai. Yeh baap bete ka apna ek unki bhi emotional fight hai.”
The movie has received some amazing reviews and ratings and it seems like the movie will surely capture your heart too.
