MUMBAI :Kajol starrer Salaam Venky is based on the life of Kolavennu Venkatesh who suffered from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The film focuses on his and his mother, Sujata’s story. While Kajol will be seen playing the role of Sujata, Vishal Jethwa portrays the role of Venkatesh.
