MUMBAI : Kangana Ranaut's angst over Karan Johar is only getting stronger with each passing day. It all started after the actress, on Koffee With Karan, called the filmmaker the flag bearer of nepotism. Ever since then, the two have gotten into a never-ending war of words. Sushant Singh Rajput's death, however, has only added to the situation. Recently, taking to her Twitter account, the team of Kangana Ranaut requested the Indian government to withdraw Karan Johar's Padma Shri honour by alleging him of intimidating her, asking her to leave the film industry on a public platform and sabotaging Sushant's career among other things.
Further, the actress also accused KJo of making an anti-national film like Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, as she reposted a tweet of an IAF declaring that she was the first woman to fly to Kargil and not Gunjan Saxena. The actress wrote, "I request government of India to take KJO’s PadmaShri back,he openly intimidated me and asked me to leave the industry on an international platform, conspired to sabotage Sushanth’s career,he supported Pakistan during Uri battle and now antinational film against our Army."
Her response was to a tweet that read, "Flight Lieutenant Srividya Rajan was Gunjan Saxena's course-mate at the Udhampur Airforce base. She declared that she was the first woman to fly to Kargil and not Gunjan. She confirms that the arm-wrestling scenes are totally false. She claims that #GunjanSaxena has twisted facts."
