"Khiladi" Akshay Kumar talks about stunts, fear and his movie Khiladi 786

Ask Akshay Kumar questions on fear and stunts and he has only one thing to say, “There are two types of fears, good one which makes you take the required precautions and the bad one which stifles your growth.” And with Akki now set to return to the Khiladi action avatar after 12 years with Khiladi 786, he was again asked the same question and pat came the same reply. Here he is playing a truck driver Bhattar Singh, who lives in the border areas of Punjab. He is supported by Asin, Mithun Chakraborty and Himesh Reshammiya (who is also a co producer along with Akshay and is also a story writer and music director in the project). Akki who has always done his own stunts says, “the toughest one was when he was on a plane in Khiladi 420.” “I got on the wing of a small airplane, and in midflight climbed to the top and stood there. Then I jumped from the plane onto a hot air balloon. This scene was later called by stunt directors as ridiculously dangerous, but I stood by it.” Khiladi 786 will hit the theaters on 7 December (2012).
