MUMBAI: National award winning filmmaker Nagraj Manjule has roped in Sai Tamhankar for his next big project, ‘Matka King’. This exciting news follows the grand announcement of her association with Excel Entertainment for two interesting projects — ‘Ground Zero’ and ‘Agni’, where she will star opposite Emraan Hashmi and Pratik Gandhi, respectively.
The news of Sai roped in for ‘Matka King’ has piqued huge curiosity and anticipation among audiences and her fans. Being directed by Manjule marks a first for Sai, adding an extra layer of excitement to the project.

“This is a web series for Amazon Prime which Vijay (Varma) is a part of, and I will get an opportunity to work with a great actor like him. Now, I cannot reveal much about my part here but all in all it’s a sudden breeze of excitement and thrill in my life right now.”
In addition to ‘Ground Zero’, ‘Agni’, and ‘Matka King’, audiences can also look forward to Sai's performance in ‘Dabba Cartel,’ which is slated for release on Netflix later this year. This film marks Sai’s third collaboration with Excel Entertainment and boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring luminaries such as Shabana Azmi, Jyotika, Shalini Pandey, Nimisha Sajayan, Anjali Anand, Gajraj Rao, and Jisshu Sengupta, among others.
