No more 'Grand Masti' for Riteish Deshmukh

Ever since the beginning of his career, Riteish Deshmukh has excelled playing comic roles in films. From Heyy Babyy to his latest Humshakals, Riteish has enthralled his audience with his innate comic timing. In between, he also dabbled in a few sex comedies like Masti, Kya Kool Hai Hum among others. But his presence in the outrageously bold Grand Masti brought in a few concerned glances from family audiences worldwide. Reports of his wife Genelia D'souza being unhappy about it started trickling as well. But Ritiesh staunchly denied these reports. "Not at all. Genelia was never unhappy about me doing Grand Masti," Riteish told us. When we asked him if he would like to be part of yet another Grand Masti or an even bolder sex comedy, Riteish replied in negative. "I enjoyed doing Grand Masti. But even before its release, I had stated that I have nothing more to offer in this genre. We had crossed all the boundaries with the movie. It's not as if I made this statement after the release of the movie. It was a bold film and I am happy that the film made 100 crore. But if I get a similar script, I wouldn't take it," explained Riteish. Well, all we can say is masti won't be grand anymore without Riteish Deshmukh.
