Ranveer remains tight-lipped on his affair with Deepika

What was supposed to be the music launch of Gunday instead turned out into an interrogation cell for Ranveer Singh with the media quizzing him about his alleged relationship with Deepika Padukone. So much so that both Priyanka Chopra and Arjun felt completely left out with the media training its guns on Ranveer who clearly was the star of the day. But the actor disappointed and how. He refused to open his mouth when questioned about Deepika. The moment he heard Deepika's name, Ranveer started looking first towards his left, and then right and later downwards till the interviewer got tired of prodding the actor. When we asked Ranveer the reason behind his silence, Ranveer retreated into a shell till Priyanka Chopra came to his rescue and said: “He likes to keep his private life private. So let's respect that and move on." Recently, on Koffee with Karan Deepika revealed that she was not dating any of her co-stars from Bollywood currently. But that seemed far from the truth and even Karan too, refused to believe her and playfully chided her for lying. Then there came pictures of Deepika celebrating a quiet birthday in USA with Ranveer, all of which again set the rumour mills churning about these two being in a steady relation. Ranveer, who, while promoting Ram-Leela wore his heart on his sleeve, seems to have now adopted a keep-your-mouth-shut approach. Ranveer, who has been linked to every single co-actress that he has worked with, seems to have escaped the link-up noose with Gunday where he is paired opposite Priyanka Chopra. When we asked him whether the absence of link-up will affect the movie, Ranveer mockingly suffered a heart attack and fell off the chair to the ground bringing the curtains down to an eventful press conference.
