A film based on the life of Mumbai's most wanted contract killer, Feroz Abudulla Sarguroh, alias Feroz Konkani, who was directly promoted to the rank of a shooter by the D Company, is under production.
Though, the actor, who will play the contract killer has not been finalised, Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play a character inspired by super cop Rakesh Maria who had arrested Konkani in 1996.

Though, the actor, who will play the contract killer has not been finalised, Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play a character inspired by super cop Rakesh Maria who had arrested Konkani in 1996.
Revealed Rahim Khan of Armah Entertainment Ltd, who co produced Chori Chori Chupke Chupke and planned this film on Konkani, "The life of sharp shooter Konkani has a lot of drama, action, suspense which makes a true thriller to be canned on the silver screen."
Though the makers have assured that Kokani would not be glorified as an hero in the film, Khan added, "His escape from the clutches of the Mumbai police and resurfacing as a supari killer calling shots from the International turf and a sudden announcement of his death makes an interesting film plot."
