Sushant Singh Rajput death probe: ED suspects Rhea and SSR’s Europe trip to be a business tour

MUMBAI: The ED has stepped into the SSR case and is investigating the money-laundering aspect. They are looking at the financial angle. 

Now as per a Times Now report, the ED will be looking into the Europe trip that SSR and Rhea took in October 2019. This was the same trip after which the actor changed. 

The ED suspects that this trip was a professional tour and that Rhea and Showik must have opened accounts in other countries abroad. They will be scanning every trip that both the siblings have been a part of.

Team Rhea had said that it was during the Europe trip that SSR saw a 600-year old painting that affected him badly. His mental health deteriorated and they even cut short their trip and came back. 

Almost every person connected to the case has said that it was Rhea who was controlling the finances of SSR. 

Well, let's see what further investigation will reveal. 

Till then, one will have to wait for the SC verdict on the transfer of the case.
