Talk Shop

There are several talk Shows in India which interview Bollywood stars, but there are very few who talk about the heroes that make the heroes.  India Film project, India’s largest filmmaking company has taken a new initiative of talking with star makers, by introducing a new talk Show titled ‘TalkShop’.

The show will witness interviews of ace directors of the country including Rahul Dholakia, Shakun Batra, Ram Madhwani, Tigmanshu Dhuliya, Sujoy Ghosh, Abhishek Chaubey, Shashank Khaitan, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Dibakar banerjee, Hansal Mehta, Vikramaditya Motwane. The purpose is to introduce these directors to the masses.

Not only will each episode be casual and fun, it will also include conversation with directors about what goes on behind the cameras.

Talk Shop is hosted by RJ Megha. Two episodes starring Abhishek Chaubey and Rahul Dholakia are already on air. The third episode of the season features ‘Kapoor and Sons’ fame Shakun Batra.

Read on to find out interesting things about the talented director:

During a fun session RJ Megha, showed him a picture of him as Pappu of the popular song ‘Pappu can’t dance sala’. He got embarrassed about it and said the song made him famous in unexpected ways. People started thinking of him as a ‘wanna-be-actor’ after that and his nick name became Pappu.

In another session, he cleared the air about the rumours of him and Rishi Kapoor fighting on the sets of ‘Kapoor and Sons’. Apparently, Rishi Kapoor had tweeted about his differences on his Twitter account. But the talented director said, “They had some creative differences, but friction is what keeps them going.”
