MUMBAI : While playing cricket with his buddies on Sunday, actor Tanuj Virwani had a regrettable accident. The actor had to have surgery to treat a torn ligament and dislocated acromioclavicular joint when he slipped and fell.
Tanuj opened up about the unfortunate turn of events saying, “The surgery went well. I am in a sling and have a lot of movement restrictions. All my projects will be on hold for sometime. It is a long slow road to recovery and very unfortunate because we are expecting our first child in September and I wanted to be free around that time."
He further added, "I wanted to finish shooting for a project in August and get free in September to be around my wife Tanya so that we could look forward to the new phase. Now, I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping that I recover soon.”
Tanuj concluded by saying, “I am 38 and most of my friends are parents, so I am lucky to get advice from all of them. We are also watching a lot of videos on baby care and have started renovating our home according to the baby's needs. It is a very lovely time for all of us and Tanya is taking a lot of care and precaution because she is due in September. We look forward to starting a family.’
