Jay Soni is ‘taking it easy’ these days, and claims that he is waiting for a ‘performance-oriented project to come his way. But this does not keep him away from connecting with his fans!!
And of late, with the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fever setting in on Zee TV, Jay who had earlier hosted Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs is certainly in demand. His loyal fans have started messaging him on social networking sites that they will miss seeing his funny banter as host on the show this time around.
Says Jay, “Yes, my fans really thought I will again be part of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. So they started wishing me a good comeback, but when they got to know that I am not part of it, they started feeling bad. I also enjoyed being on the platform of the show, as it involved kids.”
On his great bonding with kids, Jay states, “I usually love to be with kids, and I can spend a whole day with them. In fact, I love to watch them play and even sleep (smiles). On the show too, I had a blast with all the kids.”
Aww, so when will Jay become a proud father? “Aah, that will take its sweet time. Since mine was an arranged marriage, I am still getting to know Pooja. I am yet to digest the fact that I am married. So parenthood will have to wait (smiles).”
On his next project, Jay quips, “On TV, I am looking for a challenging character. Also, I am meeting people for work in movies. All I can say is that I am on the right path, and something should materialize in the days to come.”
