After months of speculations, it’s official now that Swastik Pictures historical show Shobha Somnath Ki on Zee TV is all set to take a 15-20 years leap soon. However, with the leap, viewers will witness some twists and turns. As reported earlier by Tellychakkar, Yash Tonk who plays Daddachalukya in the show is not very keen to essay the character, and if rumour mills are to be believed then after the leap he will be replaced by Tarun Khanna. Tarun was last seen in Zee TV’s historical extravaganza Jhansi Ki Rani.
Furthermore, the show will see some other replacements as well. Jignesh Mehta will step in as the grown-up Bheemdev and Ankit Mohan, who was last seen in Shahid Kapoor starrer Mausam, will play Prachasandaman, Bhanuman’s son.
In another development, the show will go bi-weekly from a daily at the same time slot in the near future due to its constant plummeting numbers. Zee TV’s new show Hitler Didi will fill in its place.
We talked to Siddharth Tewary of Swastik Pictures who confirmed Tarun Khanna’s entry in the show but refused to divulge any information on the show going bi-weekly.
We shall keep you posted on further developments!!!!
