A new genre Dramality- The show comes with a complete new genre that is the combination of Drama and reality. The show will start with a drama portion, which is the story of a 16- year old carefree girl who realizes her potential when thrown to the deep end. The girl who dances for just fun, eventually finds herself in a dance reality show. Tara aka Roshni Walia is considered as hopeless by her father, but what does destiny have in store for her? National award winner Upendra Limaye on Hindi TV- Talented actor Upendra Limaye who won national award for his film Jogwa and has been a part of various National award-winning films would be seen in the small screen for the first time. The actor has always been fond of concept based projects and in this one, he would be seen in the role of a middle class man from Satara who runs his own Kathak classes. This would also be the first time when audiences would see him performing Kathak on-screen.

Youth-icon Roshni Walia in a no-makeup look- Roshni will be seen in a non-glam look. Roshni who is a style icon herself sets the bar very high when it comes to setting trends has always been a social media favorite for her diva looks but in the show Tara from Satara, she plays a simple small town girl. The actor who has sharp features and is famous for her beauty will be seen carrying the girl next door look and the pictures speak a thousand words. Roshni has never hesitated from donning new looks for her roles and was also seen in the role of ‘Ajabdeh’ in Sony Entertainment Television’s historical show, ‘Bharat ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap’ where she was seen in a royal Rajasthani avatar and carried the look with elegance and poise. Now, her new school girl look is the one that fans are waiting to witness.

A show based on the beautiful land of Satara: The show is based on the serene lands of Satara and the artists especially Tara would be seen exploring varied locations of Satara as she explores her journey of life.

The show is all set to launch on Sony Entertainment Television and would share the same launch date as the iconic show Kaun Banesga Crorepati. The line-up of the channel will have Tara from Satara following Kaun Banega Crorepati.
