MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia has been shifted to ICU, yes you heard right. The actor's mother has not been keeping well for a week now. Actor Akshay Kumar had to return to Mumbai on Monday morning from London where he was shooting for his movie Cinderella.

The actor’s mom is in the ICU at Mumbai’s Hiranandani Hospital.

Well it is said that the actor has requested the makers of the movie Cinderella to continue with the shoot with the portion where the actor is not required.

No doubt all the fans are now praying for the speedy recovery of the actor's mother.

Talking about the movie Cinderella, it is helmed by 'Bell Bottom' director Ranjit Tiwari and features Rakul Preet Singh as the leading lady.

Apart from this psychological thriller, Akshay Kumar will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe ‘Sooryavanshi’, he also has some amazing line ups which includes Aanand L Rai’s ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Ram Setu’, Bachchan Panday.
