MUMBAI: Following the delay of Yash and Kiara Advani's Toxic, the Jolly LLB 3 makers have set April 10, 2025, as the release date for the Akshay Kumar film. The release date of Jolly LLB 3 starring Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar is reportedly set for April 10 of next year.
“The makers were always clear to bring the film during the Summer 2025 period and took no time to lock April 10, 2025 as the release date. The film will be released on Thursday, April 10, 2025, on account of Mahavir Jayanti and then reap the benefit of the Ambedkar Jayanti Holiday on Monday, April 14 as well. It’s a 5-day extended holiday weekend, which is perfect for a family-based comic entertainer like Jolly LLB 3,” the popular news portal quoted a source as saying.

“The film has shaped up to be an absolute entertainer for the cinema-going audience, keeping the essence of the Jolly LLB franchise intact. The film pits Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi against each other inside the court,” the source added.
In 2013, Jolly LLB's debut movie was released. In 2017, its follow-up was released in theatres. Main actors Saurabh Shukla and Arshad Warsi starred in the first movie. Akshay Kumar replaced Arshad Warsi in the follow-up. Huma Qureshi was also with him.
Earlier, in an interview with the popular news portal, Arshad explained the reason behind going MIA in Jolly LLB 2. “I have no idea. I have a feeling the makers wanted to upscale the film. I remember I told Subhash (Kapoor, director) also, ‘You should do it with Akshay. If you want to show a crowd in a courtroom, with me it will be 500; with Akshay, you will get 5000′. Somewhere, the production people realized, ‘Let’s get a bigger star’. People liked to see me, so I am back. People will enjoy seeing me and Akshay,” he said.
According to reports, Saurabh Shukla will return to his position as a judge in the third installment, while Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi will reportedly be seen at loggerheads. Recently, Akshay also shared a humorous video from Jolly LLB 3's set.
Akshay and Arshad may be seen in the video wearing black robes. Arshad started it off by warning everyone about "Jagdish Tyagi aka Jolly BA LLB Duplicate." Arshad was then seen introducing himself as the “original” Jolly. There was a last glimpse of Saurabh Shukla in the video.
