MUMBAI: Colors recently introduced a mythological show based on the story of the divine couple Lakshmi and Narayan through its show ‘Lakshmi Narayan - Sukh Saamarthya Santoolan'.
Shivya Pathania was cast to play Lakshmi. Srikant Dwivedi was cast to play Lord Narayan. Later, Anshul Bammi joined the show as Sheshnaag. Produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary under Swastik Productions, the show aimed at presenting the eternal love story of Lakshmi and Narayan. (Also Read: “My hard work paid off”- says Shivya Pathania)
An annual Hindu festival, Krishna Janmashtami (also called Krishnashtami, Janmashtami, or Gokulashtami) commemorates the birth of Krishna, the eighth avatar of Vishnu. As the nation gathers to celebrate the occasion with a ‘Dahi Handi’ activity today (August 27, 2024), Shivya Pathania, who seems to be a firm believer of Lord Krishna, celebrates the festival by praying to Lord Krishna at Swastik Bhoomi.
For the uninitiated, Shivya has been a part of various mythological projects in the past where she has played Goddess. One of the most loved shows on &TV, Baal Shiv featured Shivya Pathania as Goddess Parvati. She also played one role which was closer to Lord Krishna.
Shivya stole everyone's hearts by playing the character Radha in the show RadhaKrishn. The serial witness Sumedh Mudgalkar playing the titular role of Lord Kishna. The audience loved her as Radha in the show and her chemistry with Sumedh was also extremely appreciated.
