”I’m so glad I got the opportunity to feature in Chitta Ve,”said Dalljiet. “This show is not just a thriller, but a raw and real portrayal of the dark side of drug addiction and the drug syndicate. While shooting, I learned the true meaning of ‘Chitta’ – white, and how it’s used to refer to drugs. It was an eye-opening experience to see heartbreaking real life story of how they use small kids to peddle drugs. Rather just the narration of the series had given me goose bumps and left me teary eyed.
She went on to describe the physically demanding nature of her role, saying”We really went all out to make the show as authentic as possible. I had to shoot in some really gritty locations – one scene even had me being hoisted into a massive well by a crane. We shot in some incredibly dirty, tough conditions to show the real side of a drug addict’s life. This has definitely been the most challenging role of my career.”
