MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

It appears that Anupama is looking after the Shah family while their son Vanraj is away. Vanraj fled the Shah family without telling the others after becoming involved in a fraud case.
Anupama took on all the responsibilities and disregarded her own life and family because she could be seen straining to keep the family together.
Vanraj, who plays business tycoon Vanraj Shah, will soon return to the show. His arrival will add intrigue to the plot, and he will be jealous of Anupama for continuing to keep her place in the Shah Family.
Shantanu Pandey's abrupt departure from the show has left the makers unable to decide on the ideal face for Vanraj Shah. Numerous names have surfaced for the role of Vanraj Shah, but the creators have not confirmed anything.
Anupama is currently living a very difficult life with the Shah Family at her side, apart from Adhya and Anuj. It will show her tending to all of her grandchildren.
