Given how awful his childhood has been, it appears like Prem is making an effort to avoid his history. He finds serenity and tranquility at Krisna Kunj with Anupama and her family because he despises his parents for not being a positive influence in his life.
Prem wants Khalnayak to join his company, so he will soon be back in his life. Prem will be content with Anupama and has no interest in working for a man like Khalnayak. Khalnayak would disgrace Anupama in front of everyone because he believes she is attempting to take advantage of his son.
Since he has a close relationship with Anupama and is aware of her goodness, Prem would stand up for her. Khalnayak would threaten to destroy everything around Anupama until she removes Prem from her life.
