Given Rahi's return to Anupama's life, Mahi appears to be extremely insecure. Since Mahi is Kavya's illegitimate daughter, the Shah family has never accepted her and does not feel any bond with her.
After Vanraj and Kavya decided to leave the family, Anupama adopted Mahi. Since then, Anupama has become a major trigger for Mahi because she will be perceived as being emotionally reliant on her. Anupama will be seen following Rahi after he arrives, which will infuriate Mahi.
