Worried that humanity is coming to an end on Friday? Well, everyone around the world is. Since the last couple of days, buzz is high that the world would end, as per Mayan prophecy, on 21 December, 2012. On the other hand, another report says that there would be a total blackout throughout the world from 21 to 25 December because of change of planetary positions. Whatever be it…the situation certainly seems to be a little grim. While some people are scared, many brush this report off as another petty joke.

But we received mails and messages from fans asking us to prepare a slideshow on television actors who went ahead to tie the knot this year. And as you folks know…we are here to cater to the interest and wishes of TV buffs. So here we go…the pictorial presentation above depicts different (and your favourite) TV stars who took the holy nuptial vows this year.

Spellbound and Walkwater Productions’ Pratigya saw the entry of Mohit Malik in yesterday’s (7 June 2012) episode. He has entered as the parallel lead Abhimanyu Singh Yadav, who is a lawyer by profession. The court dealings with respect to Adarsh’s death will be the prime focus in the coming weeks. Pratigya (Pooja Gor) will actually approach Abhimanyu to defend Krishna (Arhaan Behll). But the twist in the tale will happen when Abhimanyu will accept the case from Shyamji’s side (Pratigya’s father) and will in fact fight the case to convict Krishna.

The year 2011 has ended and everyone is busy gushing about the New Year, 2012. People are busy deciding what went wrong the last year and what they would love to see and do this year. Amidst all this chaos and hustle-bustle, Tellychakkar.com caught up with the TV celebrities to know what they want to achieve and do this year which they couldn’t in the year gone by, in short what is their New Year Resolution.

The Hollywood Press Association announced the nominations for its 2012 edition of the Golden Globe Awards. And there were quite a few new shows being nominated while older shows also managed to get snagged for a nomination. Amongst the new series nominated are <em>Homeland</em>, which received nominations for drama series, best actress (Claire Danes) and best actor (Damian Lewis). <em>Game of Thrones, New Girl</em> and <em>American Horror Story</em> are among the other new shows which have got nominations.
