Personal fitness mantra: I think being happy and having a positive state of mind is the most important thing. On my sets, I am known for my jovial nature and positive vibes. So, that is what keeps me going.
Diet mantra: I eat a lot. But, I make sure I eat right. I follow a ‘Blood Group Diet’ designed especially for my blood group. It really works for me!
Exercise routine: I don’t get time for regular workouts due to my hectic schedule. However, whenever I get time I take classes from a renowned gym ‘Fitness First’ at Goregaon. Their power yoga and other classes work wonders for me. Apart from that, I make a point to play lawn tennis at home as this helps me to be in shape.
Is food the elixir of life? Yes, absolutely!
Are you a foodie?
I am pure Punjabi kudi. Just like any other North Indian, I too am a big foodie.
Are you a vegetarian or non-vegetarian?
I feel too much non- vegetarian is not good for health. Thus, I am a balance of both.
Favourite cuisine: Mughlai food.
Favourite dish: Golgappas (also known as (pani puri) and mutton biryani. (Bengali style)
Favourite restaurant: Machaan at Malad in Mumbai.
A must on my breakfast table: 3 egg whites, a soya roti and a hot cup of tea.
Sugar or sugar-free for my tea/coffee: With sugar.
Lunch generally consists of… 1 soya roti, dal, vegetable and chaas. (butter milk).
Dinner generally consists of… My dinners are usually dicey. I either have fruits or simply nothing after my evening snacks.
Dessert delights… I am not fond of sweets. So no desserts for me.
One thing I can’t resist… Golgappas.
My favourite drink (non-alcoholic) Nimbu Pani.
My favourite drink (alcoholic)… I like to have wine once in a while.
At parties I have… Starters. No main course for me!
Most unusual dish I've tasted… Deep-fried worms at Bangkok. I gathered guts to have it as they assured to me that it wouldn’t taste like worms. Eventually, I ended up puking.
Experiment with food… I simply love to experiment with food.
On the streets, I love to have… Golgappas, Bhel Puri and roadside Chinese food.
Do you cook? I love to cook!
