Aanchal Khurana down with acute abdomen pain and weak liver

The bubbly actress Aanchal Khurana who essays the vamp Charu in Shakuntalam Telefilms’ Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke on Zee TV had great plans to bring in the New Year. However, all her plans went down the drain as she fell ill. As per a source on the sets of the show, Aanchal was diagnosed to be suffering from a weak liver and the doctors advised her to be very careful as this only means that she might be in stage one of jaundice. Aanchal was on the set shooting (on 31 December 2013) when she developed acute pain in the abdomen and left early to take rest. On 1 January 2014, she was diagnosed with a weak liver. Even though the actress has resumed shoot, she has to take care of her health and follow the precautions set by the doctor, especially in her diet. When contacted, a weak sounding Aanchal told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I have been unwell. I have an abdomen pain and my liver has gone weak. I have been administered with medicines, and am put on a strict food diet. I am allowed to eat only khichdi and curd rice, and nothing else. I am shooting for Sapne Suhane even now, but am quite particular about my health. The doctor has advised me to have a rest for a week or so. However, I cannot afford such a long break as Charu is back with her dhamaal and the track is completely on her.” We wish Aanchal a speedy recovery.
